Annotated cloth-backed map of southeastern South Australia 'Drainage District' published by Surveyor General's Office. Map contains Aboriginal place names and other data obtained by Tindale from Milerum and Karloan. Includes notes on archaeology, Aboriginal material culture and social organisation. Tindale recorded heights above sea level and other geological data, including locations of dunes in Coorong and lakes region, in various pens and colour pencils. Also includes horde and 'tribal' names. Scale 1 inch = 2 miles. See also maps 338/16/15-18.
