Tirari (SA)

LocationEastern shore of Lake Eyre from Muloorina north to Warburton River; east to Killalapaninna; a small tribe now extinct. It was not a horde of the Dieri, as suggested by Howitt. O'Grady et al. (1966) incorrectly synonymized the name with Dieri. O. Siebert (pers. comm., 1936) vouched that the language spoken was different from Dieri. A few details survive in the Reuther manuscript.
