Hand-drawn, untitled sketch map showing 'tribal' boundaries in blue pencil from near Cooktown south to Townsville, Queensland. Names of tribes are not included. Data from the map were included in the inset ('vide area enlargement') on Tindale's 1940 published map (see series 338/17). Tindale's 1974 book, Aboriginal Tribes of Australia, also contains a printed version in figure 27: 'Sketch map of the tribes in the rain-forested areas of the Cairns district of northeastern Queensland' (p. 87).
